The find of fragments of the gravestone of Anna Fleischer (née Hirsch), who died 19 July 1854, aged 72, was the first discovery of the campaign that helped to unveil the secrets of which no documents have been preserved in archives. The gravestone was used for farm outbuildings.
Anna married Moises Fleischer 4 February 1810; the couple lived in the house no. 35 in the Jewish quarter. Baruch was one of their sons, whose direct descendant, retired diplomat Andrew Charles Koss, has been found in the USA. The inscription on the gravestone describes Anna as a virtuous and devout woman.
