The Prostějov Museum and Gallery, in cooperation with the benevolent society Kolel Damesek Eliezer, prepared the exhibition “Extinct Garden of Life”, devoted to the history of the old Jewish cemetery in Prostějov and the search for lost gravestones. The exhibition, which includes some recent finds, is open to public in Špalček.
from June 2 to August 7.

Almost a hundred guests joined the opening party, including Deputy Minister of Culture Vlastislav Ouroda, Director Radek Augustin from the President’s staff, Deputy Mayor of Prostějov Pavel Smetana, and also people who helped to search for the gravestones. Special thanks of the authors of the exhibition were extended to the Prostějov Daily, which monitored the matter all along.
